Therapist Intern

(Under the supervision of a Registered Psychotherapists)

I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Emily, and I’m an intern psychotherapist with a deep passion for helping people navigate life’s challenges. I’ve always been the person people turn to when they need someone to talk to—whether its friends confiding in me about relationship struggles or family members seeking guidance. I’ve always found it fulfilling to listen, offer support, and help others make sense of their emotions. Over time, this natural inclination to support and understand others led me to pursue a career in psychotherapy.

As I’ve grown in my journey, I’ve realized how powerful it can be to have someone truly in your corner, especially when life gets tough. That’s why I draw from a variety of therapy approaches, such as Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Mindfulness techniques. By integrating these approaches, I aim to create a personalized, holistic experience that fits each person’s unique needs. My goal is to support you in uncovering your strengths, finding balance, and moving toward the life you truly want.

Outside of therapy, I’m passionate about travelling and learning about different cultures. Exploring the world has taught me the importance of embracing diverse perspectives, which helps me connect with people from all walks of life. I believe this open-mindedness enhances my work as a therapist, allowing me to approach each person’s journey with empathy, respect, and curiosity.

A quote that has always stayed close to my heart is: “Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always.” It serves as a reminder for me to approach each person with kindness and understanding—and I carry that mindset into every session.

If you’re looking for a safe, supportive space to share, heal, and grow, I’d be honoured to be a part of your journey. Together, we can work toward helping you find clarity, strength, and your authentic self.
